Golfing in South-West Ireland - Waterville

Waterville, one of the golfing wonders of the world, is on the shore of Ballinskelligs Bay. This course ( par 72, 7,184 yds. ) rates as one of the longest in Europe. Some of the worlds great's have played here, Tiger Woods, Mark O Meara, Ray Floyd and the late Payne Stewart. It was redesigned by Eddie Hackett and the late John A Mulachey.

Waterville Golf Links does not overwhelm you because not having have the towering dunes of Tralee's back nine or of Ballybunion's Cashen course. It has a terrific layout and some of the best greens you will ever play on.
